We are fellow residents and neighbors whose property lies in and around the Robert E Lee Park. As you may know, Baltimore County has taken over management of the Park. Perhaps you have had the opportunity to visit the Park since it reopened in October and seen the positive changes the County has instituted.
Robert E Lee Park Nature Council (RELPNC) is a newly formed volunteer, non-profit (501c3 pending) organization, dedicated to the stewardship of the Park for recreation and educational programs. RELPNC welcomes everyone to its monthly meetings, held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Jefferson Building, 105 West Chesapeake Avenue in Towson. The next meeting will be held on February 15th.
RELPNC has formed several committees, including the Residents' Committee, which is designed to be a resource for residents around the Park. We will provide useful information such as lists of contacts for problems such as off-leash dogs, traffic and parking, trash and vandalism. We also will circulate descriptions of invasive and endangered plants, deer management options and water quality programs.
We hope to use e-mail to communicate easily and quickly with neighbors, without divulging your email address to other recipients. You may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions or comments.
Please check back here often to find out more about our committee. We hope you will consider becoming a member of RELPNC and volunteer to help us move forward!
We welcome your involvement.
