Explore the park with a ranger to catch butterflies, identify flowers, discover stream life, and enjoy crafts, face painting, and more. We’ll be inspired by the adventures of famous fairytale heroines. Kids are welcome to dress up as their favorite character!

Rangers will teach children the important outdoor skills every child should know: whistle with grass, skip a rock, build a miniature boat, go fishing, construct a shelter, build a fire, and much more.

Fridays starting April 19th, 9:00 – 10:00am Adults, senior-friendly, free! Call 410-887-4156 to register. Join two active seniors to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of spring while walking the trails at Robert E. Lee Park. Terrain: varied; mostly flat, with some hills. Hiking boots are recommended. Please bring water with you.

Pavillion Rental
Want to rent one of our pavilions for an event? Please contact Donna at 410-887-4156 or 410-887-8572. Each pavilion accommodates 60 people, at a rental fee of $75. Because of parking restrictions, we will rent only one pavilion at a time.
Maryland Master Naturalist Training Program
September 7 - October 28, 2013 Monday & Thursday evenings & some Saturdays.
Maryland Master Naturalist Program trains individuals to engage citizens as stewards of Maryland's natural ecosystems and resources through science-based education and volunteer service in their communities. Courses are taught by University professors and experts in the field during 60 hours of classroom and hands-on training. Price: $250 for training and manual.
